3D Animations

Official trailer for Sensation Dubai 2016. The purpose of the animation was to show the new location for the show, which was located just outside of Dubai at Bhab al Shams. Also the stage had to be presented.

A short animation for a website that provides a network for lawyers and legal services.
At Boompje studio, we developed the look and feel for this animation, which required animating hundreds of wooden blocks that assemble entire scenes. The difficulty here, was to build a particle system that controlled all the blocks, but allowed for manual tweaking and animation.

Feul Animation for Falk ‘n Suns Creative agency. A particle simulation was used for the explosion and construction of the earth.

Play House is a Music Video Clip for the band Afrobeta, directed by Ruben van der Leer.
For this assignement Boompje Studio designed and build multiple 3D scene and intergrated them with real-life footage. I worked on the city landscape, house and particle elements such as the organic substances. I also did additional work on greenscreen elements and scene intergration.

Voor het derde jaar op rij mocht Boompje Studios de leader maken voor het Picnic festival en de eerste keer dat ik als 3D designer en animator er bij werd betrokken. Voor deze versie besloten we een volledig CGI animatie te maken, compleet gebouwd en geanimeerd in 3D. Mijn bedrage omsloeg het ontwerpen en animeren van alle planten, vlinder en ballon.

Voor Spirit of Necropolis heb ik nauw samen gewerkt met Kaspar Guyaux aan enkele grote 3D scene’s voor de film. Enerzijds bouwden ik 3D scene’s gebaseerd op zijn tekeningen, anderszijds kleurde Kasper 3D scene’s in van mijn ontwerp. In totaal leverde dat 12 shots op, met een duur van 2 minuten.
Daarnaast heb ik een marionet figuur gebouwd en met 3D animaties bewerkt, tot een reeks beelden voor het deel van de film wat zich in de onderwereld afspeelt.
